Senior Associate – External Auditor (Private Clients)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Private Clients team. You will lead external audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of businesses, ranging from fast‑growing start‑ups to large, established entities. Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute external audits of financial statements in line with regulatory and professional standards.
• Perform substantive testing, evaluate internal controls, and identify audit risks.
• Prepare clear audit documentation, reports, and findings for clients and senior team members.
• Communicate audit issues and collaborate with clients to resolve financial reporting challenges.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance audit efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in external audit, including at least 1 year as a Senior Auditor.
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or finance, with progress toward or completion of a recognised CA qualification.
• Strong analytical ability to assess financial information and apply professional judgement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Foundational knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
