Senior Analyst - Global Mobility Tax

About the role

Deloitte Global Employer Services (GES) is hiring a Senior Analyst for its Global Mobility Tax practice in Australia. Working within the Deloitte GES team, you will advise international assignees and corporate clients on the Australian tax implications of their assignments and on tax and policy issues arising from global mobility programs.

Key responsibilities

• Advise international assignees on the Australian tax implications of their assignments and help them meet their Australian tax compliance obligations
• Support and advise corporate clients on tax and policy issues arising from their global mobility programs
• Work with a wider client service team and the global network of mobility tax specialists to deliver holistic solutions
• Benefit from on-the-job and formal technical training and exposure to a broad range of clients

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working directly with assignees and corporate clients
• Ability to manage and prioritise tasks across numerous multinational clients in various industries
• Solid Australian tax knowledge covering mobility tax topics such as tax residency, double tax agreements, capital gains tax, employee share schemes and Australian employment tax issues
• Eagerness to develop into a broader advisory professional across global mobility
