Senior Advisor Contracts and Procurement

About the role

Veolia is looking for an experienced Senior Advisor in Contracts and Procurement to support water operations across New South Wales. You will work closely with regional leaders, operational teams and technical specialists to develop procurement strategies that reduce risk, improve processes and deliver value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies aligned with operational priorities.
• Advise stakeholders on procurement processes, policies and requirements.
• Analyse spend and market trends to identify savings and improvements.
• Manage supplier categories, relationships and performance.
• Support contract reviews with project owners, Legal and Finance.
• Identify procurement risks and develop practical controls.
• Improve procurement guidelines, templates and processes.
• Monitor performance and report on procurement outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong procurement experience across multiple categories.
• Experience supporting operational, infrastructure or project environments.
• Commercial, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to turn business needs into practical procurement solutions.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to NSW water sites.
