Senior Accountant – Remote, Queensland

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a leading regional practice in Queensland. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while supporting a diverse client base, particularly in the primary production sector.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with a portfolio of primary production clients.
• Prepare IAS, BAS and FBT returns.
• Prepare financial statements, tax returns and calculate Div 7A, CGT and FBT obligations.
• Provide advisory services to help clients achieve their economic objectives.
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on compliance matters.
• Maintain and update clients' financial records.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
• CA or CPA qualification (or willingness to complete).
• Demonstrated experience working with primary production clients.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
