About the role
A well-established, fast-paced Australian services business is looking for a Senior Accountant to report to the CFO. The role covers monthly reporting for the various entities and includes managing one junior team member.
Key responsibilities
- Own the month-end reporting cycle, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
- Oversee year-end and the relationship with the auditors, plus BAS, GST and FBT
- Help with system and process improvements
- Mentor and support one junior member
- Work closely with the CFO and help the broader operational teams in a business partnering capacity
Required profile
- CA or CPA qualification (or nearing completion)
- Proven experience in a medium-sized business or larger
- Hands-on approach with good attention to detail
- Proactive communicator who works collaboratively across the business
