Senior Accountant

About the role

Join a well‑established, privately owned Australian organisation as a Senior Accountant in Brisbane CBD. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will own financial reporting across multiple entities and contribute to budgeting, forecasting and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end and year‑end processes, including journals, reconciliations and balance‑sheet reviews.
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports for multiple entities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow analysis and variance reporting.
• Oversee fixed‑asset accounting, intercompany transactions and statutory compliance.
• Identify and implement improvements to processes, systems and reporting.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualified with strong financial accounting experience.
• Proven ability to manage month‑end, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Commercially minded and proactive with ownership mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• ERP system proficiency
