About the role
MSS Security is recruiting a full-time security officer reliever for Townsville. You will work across a range of healthcare, government, industrial and corporate sites, so no two shifts are the same. The role covers access control, patrols, customer service and incident response.
Key responsibilities
- Static guarding across a variety of client sites
- Regular security patrols
- Access control, visitor screening and issuing passes
- CCTV, alarm and security system monitoring
- Responding to incidents and challenging situations
- Providing professional customer service
- Completing incident reports and site documentation
- Supporting emergency response procedures
Required profile
- Full Australian working rights
- Valid Queensland security licence
- First aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Blue card, or willingness to obtain it
- Willingness to complete a national police check
- 24/7 availability, including weekends
- Flexibility to work across different Townsville sites
