Security Officer Team Leader

About the role

Join Sodexo as a Security Officer Team Leader, managing gatehouse operations and site access while delivering exceptional customer service. The role works on a rotating roster of 12‑hour day and night shifts, providing a balanced work‑life schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage gatehouse operations, verify and process contractors, visitors, couriers and truck drivers.
• Monitor and operate security and CCTV systems, maintain accurate records and reports.
• Conduct security checks, respond to incidents and ensure compliance with site security procedures.
• Build positive relationships with stakeholders and promote a strong safety culture.
• Mentor new team members and support the Facilities Manager with security rostering.

Required profile

• Previous experience in security, gatehouse or access control environments.
• Current Security Licence and First Aid Certificate.
• Australian citizenship or unrestricted working rights.
• Ability to complete pre‑employment medical, police and reference checks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CCTV and security systems.
• Strong data‑entry, reporting and Microsoft Office capabilities.
