Security Guard (NV1 Cleared)

About the role

MSS Security, one of Australia's leading security companies, is hiring a security guard in the Northern Territory. The role provides a security presence while staying alert and focused, within an enthusiastic, committed and customer-focused team. It involves delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct guard patrols across the premises and manage site unlock and lock-up
• Escort staff and personnel on site
• Monitor CCTV footage and act on breach situations appropriately
• Direct roving security officers to respond to alarms and take appropriate action
• Report incidents and issues by radio, phone and log books
• Maintain logs and records, complete paperwork and use the computer terminal to input and retrieve data

Required profile

• Current NT Security Licence
• NT Driver's Licence
• Certificate II in Security Operations
• NV1 clearance or willingness to obtain it (MSS will support the process)
• Australian citizenship
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and on a rotating roster

What we offer

• $500 sign-on payment on commencement of employment
• $1,000 on completing 6 months of continuous service
• $1,500 at 12 months of continuous service
• Bonus available for applicants holding a current NV1 clearance and Northern Territory security licence
