Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Security Engineer with around two years of experience to join our fast‑growing cyber security consultancy. You will work across multiple client environments, supporting operational security, cloud projects and continuous improvement while gaining exposure to modern tooling and AI‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support and enhance security controls in Microsoft 365 environments.
• Assist with cloud security initiatives across Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Monitor, investigate and respond to security alerts and operational incidents.
• Contribute to vulnerability management, security hardening and risk reduction activities.
• Support implementation and maintenance of identity, endpoint, email and cloud security controls.

Required profile

• Approximately 2 years of experience in cyber security.
• Exposure to Microsoft 365 security technologies and administration.
• Foundational experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud security.
• Understanding of core cyber security principles, controls and best practices.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving skills.
• Interest in automation, scripting or AI technologies to improve security operations.
