Security Analyst – Defence Contract (Canberra)

About the role

We are seeking a Security Analyst on a contract basis to support Defence projects in Canberra. The role involves providing ICT security expertise, producing technical documentation, and advising stakeholders on security and accreditation matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑assessment activities and produce system‑level security documentation.
• Develop project‑specific system documentation, including preparation for submission, endorsement and approval.
• Maintain and support security frameworks, processes and stakeholder engagement.
• Participate in workshops and provide robust ICT security advice during information security and technical accreditation discussions.

Required profile

• Current AGSVA Security Clearance.
• Defence sector experience.
• Relevant industry information systems security certification.
• Strong knowledge of PSPF, DSPF, ISM and ISO 27001 standards.
• Experience in ICT Information Security or ICT Security Architecture, preferably with Defence deployable communications network systems.
