Secondary Teacher – Visual Art

About the role

St Margaret’s is seeking a qualified and passionate Secondary Teacher to deliver Visual Art to Years 11 and 12 starting January 2027 on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Visual Art lessons for senior secondary students, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the school, contribute to curriculum development and participate in extra‑curricular activities.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications to teach Visual Art, including senior secondary (Years 11‑12) certification.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary art practice and modern pedagogical approaches.
• Dynamic teaching style with the ability to inspire and support student wellbeing and growth.
• Willingness to engage fully in the school community and extracurricular programmes.
