About the role

Join Catholic Education Northern Territory as a Secondary Teacher, delivering high‑quality education across our network of schools in Darwin, Palmerston, Alice Springs and remote communities. You will support the academic, social and emotional development of students while contributing to the Catholic identity and mission of the school.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum and Catholic values.
• Create inclusive, supportive learning environments that cater to diverse student needs.
• Promote student wellbeing and holistic development.
• Maintain effective classroom management and clear communication with students, families and colleagues.
• Collaborate with staff and the wider school community to enhance learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Recognised teaching qualification in Primary Education.
• Eligibility for registration with the NT Teacher Registration Board.
• Current or eligible Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusive, differentiated teaching and the values of Catholic Education.
