Sales & Service Lead – Retail Store

About the role

The Sales & Service Lead is responsible for elevating the guest experience at ALO’s store, driving engagement, education and interaction on the sales floor. This role blends guest‑focused service with business and people leadership to create a sanctuary that differentiates ALO from other retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead an exceptional guest experience by assessing connection levels, providing product education and coaching team members.
• Build daily client relationships and analyse reports to strategise and deliver results.
• Ensure effective sales‑floor coverage through workforce planning and lead selling initiatives.
• Partner with Operations & Visual Manager on budgets, inventory, vendor relationships and facilities.
• Use metrics to support business‑driving strategies and dynamically address store needs.
• Oversee recruitment, development and performance feedback for Sales & Service Associates and Cashiers.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Community & Studio, Operations and Visual leads for training and execution of company initiatives.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in a client‑centric sales environment.
• Proven leadership with strong decision‑making abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and receptive to feedback.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting 10‑15 kg, standing and moving for an entire shift.
