Sales Representative

About the role

Air Liquide Australia is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth of industrial and technical gases in the Eastern Suburbs of Victoria. You will develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver our product range and enhance customers' process efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, map and pursue outbound sales opportunities to expand market share in key industrial sectors.
• Act as a trusted advisor to existing customers, managing accounts and ensuring long‑term retention and organic growth.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose process challenges and propose gas‑based solutions.
• Negotiate and secure long‑term contracts while ensuring pricing compliance.
• Monitor competitor activity, regulatory changes and market trends to provide strategic insights.
• Champion safety culture during site visits, adhering to company and customer safety protocols.

Required profile

• 3+ years of B2B sales, business development or technical sales experience in an industrial environment.
• Proven ability to open new accounts, lead complex negotiations and close high‑value agreements.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with confidence to influence decision‑makers.
• Adaptable, self‑starter attitude with a growth mindset.

Required skills

• Salesforce (or similar CRM) usage.
• Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• G‑Suite applications.
