Sales Person (4WD Accessories) - Hornsby

About the role

A well-established supplier and installer of premium 4WD accessories and aftermarket vehicle equipment is looking for a Service Advisor / Sales Person in Hornsby, NSW. The role combines customer service, sales and workshop coordination in a busy workshop and retail environment, managing bookings, product advice, quotes and accessory fitments from enquiry to vehicle collection.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers needing 4WD and vehicle accessory supply and fitment.
• Give product advice and recommendations across the in-house range and other aftermarket accessories.
• Prepare quotes and process sales orders for supply and installation.
• Book vehicles into the workshop, coordinate schedules with the workshop team and receive vehicles on arrival, confirming work and taking deposits where required.
• Order parts and accessories from suppliers and track deliveries so jobs finish on schedule.
• Liaise with trade customers such as panel shops, dealerships and other automotive businesses.
• Maintain clear communication with customers from enquiry through to collection.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an automotive service advisor, parts interpreter or accessory sales person.
• Strong knowledge or interest in 4WD and vehicle accessories.
• Comfortable working with trade customers and in a fast-paced workshop and retail setting.
• Current driver's licence required.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage bookings, quotes, orders and enquiries at once.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Team player able to work closely with sales and workshop staff.

What we offer

• Salary up to $85k.
• Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational Saturday shifts (about 1 in 3) with extra pay.
