Sales Development Representative – Build Australia Pipeline

About the role

EROAD is seeking a Sales Development Representative to become the engine of its Australian sales pipeline. You will generate and qualify new business opportunities across construction, utilities, transport, logistics, government and trades sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to prospects via phone, email and LinkedIn to start conversations and uncover opportunities.
• Qualify inbound leads, convert interest into genuine sales conversations and hand over qualified opportunities to Enterprise Sales Managers.
• Research and build target lists across key industry segments and keep pipeline activity organised.
• Collaborate with Marketing to refine targeting and continuously improve prospecting tactics.

Required profile

• High energy, self‑motivated and ambitious to build a long‑term sales career.
• Coachable, resilient and comfortable handling rejection.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a disciplined approach to activity tracking.
• Willingness to learn and use CRM and prospecting platforms.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Apollo for prospecting.
