Sales Assistant - Prouds Mount Isa

About the role

Prouds, Australia's largest jewellery retailer, is hiring a full-time Sales Assistant at its Mount Isa store. You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding each customer's story and recommending the right jewellery or watch to celebrate life's meaningful moments. The role sits in a Monday to Friday roster.

Key responsibilities

• Create memorable customer experiences and build lasting relationships with customers
• Understand customer needs and recommend products confidently, including complementary items
• Achieve individual and team sales targets
• Present the jewellery collections to the highest standard
• Assist with stock management, merchandising and day-to-day store operations
• Work alongside a team that celebrates success together

Required profile

• Natural people person who enjoys meeting new people and building relationships
• Confident in starting conversations and building rapport
• Loves selling and enjoys achieving strong sales results
• Polished, professional presentation and excellent communication skills
• Enthusiastic, motivated and reliable, able to be a keyholder from time to time
• Previous retail or sales experience; jewellery experience is an advantage but not essential
