Sales Assistant – Estimator/Quantity Surveyor (Construction)

About the role

ShapeShift Technologies is seeking a Sales Assistant with a strong background as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor. You will leverage your market‑pricing knowledge and technical expertise to win projects across Australia and potentially internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop competitive bids and smart solutions for the Australian market using your QS/Estimator experience.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Executive to create and execute communication and budgeting strategies.
• Interpret 2D drawings and understand façade assembly and material price points.
• Deliver dynamic sales presentations to architects, builders, and consultants nationwide.
• Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and build a robust sales pipeline.
• Work closely with architects to propose cost‑effective solutions that meet budget constraints.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in construction.
• Relevant tertiary education.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑driven, confident, and capable of independently generating new opportunities.
• Coachability to develop sales and presentation abilities.
