Sabre IX Developer

About the role

The Sabre IX Developer will design, develop, implement and support automation solutions on the Sabre Intelligence Exchange (IX) platform. Working closely with business stakeholders, testers and technical teams, you will deliver scalable, reliable solutions that improve airline operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and evaluate solution feasibility.
• Design, develop and maintain business processes using CCL on the Sabre IX platform.
• Build integrations with Sabre Web Services and third‑party applications.
• Support test data creation, system testing and user acceptance testing.
• Provide Level 2/3 production support for incidents, defects and service requests.
• Deploy and maintain applications in Java, Unix/Linux, Oracle, MQ and Tomcat environments.
• Participate in change and release management activities.
• Manage incidents, requests and project tasks using Jira and ServiceNow.
• Collaborate within Agile delivery teams and communicate risks and progress.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of the airline industry, especially reservations and departure control systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
