Roster Coordinator

About the role

St Vincent's Care Maroochydore, a 130-bed aged care community on the Sunshine Coast, is looking for a Roster Coordinator. You will coordinate workforce rosters and staffing allocations so that resident care needs, occupancy levels and operational needs are met. The role sits within an experienced team supporting quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate workforce rosters and staffing allocations
• Proactively manage roster vacancies and coordinate shift replacements to keep service delivery running
• Process and coordinate employee leave requests with operational leaders

Required profile

• Previous experience in rostering, scheduling or workforce planning in aged care or healthcare
• Understanding of aged care operations and resident rights (desirable)
• Willingness to obtain a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (essential)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one (essential)

Required skills

• Experience using scheduling and client management systems (CMS)
• Customer service, communication and relationship-building skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
