Room Attendant – Housekeeping

About the role

Join the Housekeeping team at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, a luxury hotel in the heart of Sydney. You will help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests across 436 newly designed rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to the hotel’s high standards, including making beds, changing linen and towels, and refreshing rooms.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and clean bathrooms, and replenish toiletries, amenities, and other guest supplies.
• Maintain tidy corridors and public areas, restock housekeeping carts and linen rooms, and report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost property.
• Work efficiently and independently while supporting the team to get rooms ready on time, delivering friendly and professional service to guests.

Required profile

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for keeping spaces clean and organised.
• Comfortable with physical work – standing, bending, reaching, lifting and pushing a trolley throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, busy environment and be available for various shifts.
• Full working rights in Australia.
