RN Level 1 – Dialysis Nurse

About the role

As a Registered Nurse in our dialysis centre, you will deliver life‑sustaining treatments to patients with chronic kidney disease, building trusted relationships with patients and families while working with cutting‑edge medical technology.

Key responsibilities

• Provide haemodialysis treatments and monitor patient progress in accordance with APHRA standards.
• Participate in design, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care within the haemodialysis setting.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) and uphold privacy and confidentiality policies.
• Support quality improvement by reporting incidents, hazards and opportunities for improvement.

Required profile

• Registered general nurse with a current AHPRA practising certificate.
• Demonstrated clinical competence in nephrology nursing or working towards it.
• Effective communication and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Self‑directed with strong organisational, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Nephrology nursing theory and practice.
• Knowledge of dialysis treatment processes and renal patient care.
• Computer literacy, including use of TDMS.
