Reticulation Construction Manager – Wind Energy

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Reticulation Construction Manager to lead the underground electrical reticulation scope for a major wind energy project in North Queensland. You will build the reticulation capability from the ground up, working hands‑on with crews, equipment and processes to deliver a safe, productive and scalable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Mobilise and establish the underground reticulation construction operation.
• Manage electrical reticulation crews, supervisors and specialist cable installation plant.
• Plan labour, plant, equipment and construction sequencing, including cable drum, pulling and installation.
• Coordinate trenching, cable installation, jointing and termination activities.
• Oversee equipment servicing, maintenance and availability.
• Develop practical construction methodologies and processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, commercial and project controls teams.
• Manage interfaces with other construction disciplines and subcontractors.
• Build a safe, repeatable and scalable delivery model.

Required profile

• Proven experience in underground HV/MV electrical reticulation on large‑scale projects.
• Background in wind farm collection systems or similar electrical infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with cable installation, pulling, jointing and terminations.
• Experience operating specialist cable installation equipment in a self‑perform environment.
• Strong track record in construction planning, mobilisation and plant utilisation.
• Ability to work in high‑risk construction environments and manage multiple work fronts.
• Demonstrated capability to build and develop construction teams.
