Retail Sales Representative

About the role

Elders is looking for a Retail Sales Representative to join its Emerald team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role supports the branch's retail team by providing logistics support, including the safe receiving and dispatching of stock, while using expert product knowledge and strong customer service skills to build lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Build a customer portfolio by developing trusted relationships with local rural businesses.
• Drive sales by connecting customers with the right Elders products, services and solutions.
• Deliver a great customer experience from enquiry and quoting through to sales, order fulfilment and delivery.
• Support stock management, receiving, storage and safe dispatch of rural products to keep the branch moving.
• Contribute to the growth of the branch and help customers succeed in their local community.

Required profile

• Experience in sales and strong retail skills.
• Technical knowledge of seasonal and rural products.
• Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and cultivate relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Valid driver's licence; a heavy rigid truck licence and a forklift licence are preferred, with support available to obtain them.
