Retail Assistant - Newton

About the role

ALDI is hiring a Store Assistant (Retail Assistant) for its Newton store. The position is part-time, averaging 15 to 20 hours per week, and suits people who want to start a retail career with no prior retail experience needed. The store is open every day, including weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Serve customers at the registers with a smile
• Keep shelves stocked so customers can find their favourite products
• Handle stock correctly, ensuring products are in date and priced correctly
• Create attractive displays of ALDI special buys
• Keep the store tidy, organised and presentable

Required profile

• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• A willingness to learn
• Full weekend availability is advantageous
