Restoration Technician

About the role

A growing restoration team, working for a client that supports disaster recovery and clean-up, is hiring a Restoration Technician based in Hemmant. The role covers local service jobs across the region, helping customers with safe, thorough restoration after incidents such as water damage, fire damage and biohazard contamination. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise affected sites to a high standard
• Attend water damage, fire damage and biohazard clean-up jobs as required
• Apply technical knowledge of restoration processes to each job
• Remove and manage affected carpet and vinyl materials during restoration
• Document each job using claims reporting software and follow job reporting requirements

Required profile

• Valid driver's licence and physical fitness for hands-on clean-up and removal tasks
• Ability to work safely and responsibly in restoration environments
• Strong work ethic, punctuality and a positive attitude
• Experience using tools preferred but not essential

Required skills

• Good general computer skills
• Proficiency with claims reporting software for job documentation and reporting
