Residential Life Manager – Student Community Leader

About the role

As the Residential Life Manager (internally known as Community Relations Manager) you will create a welcoming, inclusive environment for students living at UniLodge Perth Central. You will lead wellbeing initiatives, mentor Residential Advisors and deliver programs that connect residents and support their success.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve community‑building programs and events.
• Recruit, train, coach and motivate Residential Advisors to provide high‑quality support.
• Monitor resident welfare, provide guidance, referrals and liaise with university and local support services.
• Foster a culture of belonging, safety, diversity and mutual respect among residents and staff.
• Maintain effective communication and partnerships with university departments, contractors and internal teams.

Required profile

• People‑focused leader with strong communication skills and a passion for student wellbeing.
• Unlimited working rights in Australia and a valid National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months).
• Proven experience leading, inspiring and developing teams.
• Previous experience in a similar residential or wellbeing role with solid mental‑health literacy.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational abilities, especially during peak periods such as O‑Week and exams.
