Residential Life Manager – Community Relations Lead

About the role

As the Residential Life Manager (internally known as Community Relations Manager) you will create a welcoming, inclusive environment for students living at UniLodge Perth Central. You will lead wellbeing initiatives, mentor Residential Advisors, and deliver programs and events that foster community and student success.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee design, implementation and continuous improvement of programs and events that promote community engagement, wellbeing and student success.
• Recruit, train, coach and motivate Residential Advisors to provide high‑quality support and uphold community standards.
• Monitor resident welfare, provide guidance and referrals, and collaborate with university and local support services for holistic care.
• Build a positive community culture that encourages belonging, safety, diversity and mutual respect among residents and staff.
• Maintain effective communication and partnerships with university departments, contractors and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

Required profile

• Unlimited working rights in Australia and a valid National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months).
• Proven experience leading, inspiring and developing teams.
• Previous experience in a similar role with strong understanding of wellbeing, empathy and mental health literacy.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills, especially during peak periods such as O‑Week, exams and student intakes.
