Research Fellow – Digital Work Quality (3‑year Fixed‑term)

About the role

Curtin University is hiring a postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Quality Work in a Digital Age (QWiDA). The role focuses on the impact of digital technologies, including AI, on the quality of work and is based in Perth’s CBD.

Key responsibilities

• Design, conduct and support research projects aligned with QWiDA’s objectives, particularly within Research Stream 3 and Stream 1.
• Develop research ideas, collect and analyse data, and produce high‑quality outputs for academic journals and other recognised outlets.
• Contribute to competitive funding applications as co‑investigator, chief investigator or key team member.
• Present findings at seminars, workshops, conferences and through other engagement activities.
• Build and maintain collaborations with academic colleagues, industry partners, professional bodies, government and community groups.
• Supervise honours, research masters and doctoral students where appropriate.
• Undertake research administration, academic service and professional development tasks.

Required profile

• ALB doctoral qualification in organisational psychology, organisational behaviour or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated record of research outputs in high‑quality refereed journals or equivalent outlets.
• Evidence of impact through journal rankings, citation metrics or reputation of publishing venues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
