Remote Area Nurse – Permanent FIFO (NT)

About the role

Join a leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation in the Northern Territory as a Remote Area Nurse on a permanent FIFO roster. You will deliver comprehensive primary health care across remote communities, supporting Aboriginal health outcomes through acute, chronic and preventative services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide acute and chronic disease management, emergency response and health education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and Aboriginal Health Practitioners.
• Deliver care in both Gove Peninsula (Nhulunbuy) and East Arnhem Land communities.
• Participate in on‑call rosters (East Arnhem) and maintain clinical documentation.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS), Remote Emergency Care (REC) and Maternity Emergency Care (MEC) certifications.
• Valid National Police Check and Ochre Card (or eligibility).
• Previous rural or remote nursing experience and a full driver’s licence.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or unrestricted work rights.
