Remedial Massage Therapist - Community Contract

About the role

Alpha Allied Health is recruiting Remedial Massage Therapists for a community-based role in Hervey Bay. You will provide remedial massage therapy to clients in their homes to help improve their independence and quality of life. The position offers flexible hours and caseload, competitive remuneration, and future growth opportunities to expand your experience into residential aged care and private settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical assessments, reports and therapy to community clients
• Maintain thorough client-related documentation
• Work collaboratively with other allied health professionals and referring partners
• Manage client and family feedback and take corrective action so services stay responsive to client needs

Required profile

• Demonstrated skills and experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist, able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Full working rights in Australia
• Current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
• National police check with no disclosable outcomes (or willingness to obtain one)
• Unrestricted Australian driver's licence and a reliable, insured vehicle

Required skills

• Diploma in Remedial Massage and current professional membership with an organisation
• Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
