Release Coordinator / Stream Lead (Agile)

About the role

A large Queensland Government Department, represented by its client, is seeking a Release Coordinator / Stream Lead for an initial 11-month contract until 09/10/2027, with possible extension. The role sits in Brisbane CBD with flexibility to work from home two days per week. It may oversee up to two blended contractor and FTE teams focused on developing and maintaining system integrations for priority ICT initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Guide multiple Agile teams through the development of enterprise-level integration solutions.
• Facilitate all Scrum meetings and remove impediments to team momentum.
• Support the Product Owner in refining and maintaining the backlog.
• Ensure deliverables meet relevant policies and procedures.
• Coordinate verification and release of packages developed by the teams.
• Report team progress, including standard metrics, risks and issues.

Required profile

• High level of experience leading multiple Agile teams in an enterprise environment.
• High level of experience delivering enterprise-level software end to end.
• Ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong technical foundation and understanding of software development practices while managing technical dependencies and risks.

Required skills

• Experience with Agile ALM systems, particularly Azure DevOps.
• Scrum facilitation.

What we offer

• Pay of $1,093 per day, inclusive of the mandatory 25% casual loading for contract roles.
• Brisbane CBD location with two days per week flexible to work from home.
