Rehabilitation Counsellor - Psychological Injury

About the role

A well-established medium-sized rehabilitation company specialising in occupational rehabilitation services across Australia is hiring a Rehabilitation Counsellor in Brisbane. The role is hybrid, based in the CBD, and involves designing and delivering case-management services for clients with psychological injuries, working closely with injured workers and veterans to build tailored rehabilitation programs. It also means collaborating with employers, medical professionals and insurance providers to support return-to-work outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design personalised rehabilitation programs for psychological injury cases
• Deliver case-management services to injured workers and veterans
• Collaborate with employers, doctors and insurers on recovery plans
• Conduct assessments and monitor client progress regularly
• Provide reports and recommendations to stakeholders

Required profile

• Rehabilitation Counsellors are welcome
• Provisional or general psychologists with injury management experience are encouraged to apply
• Flexible start date; full-time, part-time and contractor positions are all open
