Rehabilitation Consultant - Psychologist

About the role

Konekt is hiring a part-time Rehabilitation Consultant (Psychologist) in Enfield, Queensland. The role supports people facing mental health, psychosocial, injury-related or health challenges to build confidence and achieve their employment and wellbeing goals. You will work directly with clients, build strong local connections and deliver face-to-face support across Sunshine Coast locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one rehabilitation and vocational support to clients affected by injury, illness, mental health or psychosocial barriers
• Conduct assessments and identify barriers, strengths and opportunities
• Collaborate with clients on tailored rehabilitation, wellbeing and employment plans
• Support clients to prepare for, secure or maintain employment
• Hold regular face-to-face sessions and run workshops and group sessions, in person or online (training provided)
• Monitor progress and adjust support strategies
• Build relationships with employers, healthcare providers, insurers and community stakeholders
• Advise on workplace adjustments, injury management and return-to-work planning
• Promote Konekt's services locally and manage cases end-to-end with quality documentation and reporting

Required profile

• Qualifications in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work
• AHPRA registration (including Provisional Psychologists), ASORC membership or AASW membership
• Desirable: experience in rehabilitation, employment services, mental health, disability or workplace health
• Desirable: experience delivering workshops or group programs, or willingness to learn
• Current driver's licence, willingness to travel locally and a valid Working with Children Check
• Ability to pass a National Criminal History Check and full Australian working rights
