Rehabilitation Consultant – Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or AEP

About the role

Konekt, one of Australia's largest workplace rehabilitation and injury prevention providers, is looking for an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist (AEP) to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions. The role supports people returning to meaningful engagement in their occupations, with freedom to structure your day and the option to work a compressed 9-day fortnight.

Key responsibilities

• Use specialist knowledge and skills to help people return to meaningful engagement in their occupations
• Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers injured or ill at work or outside work
• Help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests
• Perform assessments such as functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
• Manage cases effectively, planning, coordinating and monitoring progress toward return-to-work goals
• Engage with key stakeholders and build strong relationships to support business objectives

Required profile

• Professional registration with AHPRA, and ESSA (AEP)
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
• Current Working with Children Check
• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check on successful application
• Care and compassion for people, ability to adapt to varied clients, independence and teamwork, and commitment to ongoing learning
