Rehabilitation Consultant - Occupational Therapist

About the role

Altius, a workplace health and wellbeing group founded in 2001, is hiring a Rehabilitation Consultant Occupational Therapist for its Rehabilitation Services team in Orange, NSW. Working from a hybrid workplace, you will help injured, ill or disabled people recover, regain independence and return to work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop personalised rehabilitation plans using a whole-of-person approach
• Complete assessments such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
• Identify return-to-work pathways aligned with recovery milestones
• Use clinical experience and injury management knowledge to assess claimants and support their return to work
• Work with clients, families, insurers, employers and other healthcare professionals to consider physical, psychological and social factors
• Present case information and make credible recommendations to stakeholders

Required profile

• Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current driver's licence and access to own transport
• Full Australian working rights
