Registered Nurse - Urgent Care Centre

About the role

Portland District Health is recruiting a Registered Nurse for its Urgent Care Centre in Portland, Victoria. The role is ongoing part time at 64 hours per fortnight, with rostered Monday to Friday shift work, nights, weekends and public holidays. The nurse delivers safe and effective personal and clinical care according to each consumer's needs, goals and preferences, supports the development of clinical skills in staff under their responsibility and contributes to quality, safety and risk management programs.

Required profile

• Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia registration via AHPRA
• Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing and/or Intensive Care (desirable)
• Current triage training/competency (mandated) and current Advanced Life Support (ALS) (mandated)
• Current Paediatric Advanced Life Support (desirable)
• At least 5 years' experience in an Emergency Department and/or Urgent Care Centre
• Unrestricted right to work in Australia; no visa sponsorship accepted
