Registered Nurse - Perioperative Services (Part-Time)

About the role

Portland District Health is seeking a suitably qualified Registered Nurse to join its Perioperative team in an ongoing part-time position of 64 hours per fortnight, available from 5 October 2026. The nurse delivers safe and effective personal and clinical care according to each patient's needs, goals and preferences, contributing to a culture of person-centred care and consumer engagement. The position requires participation in the service's on-call roster, which may include one or more weekends per month.

Required profile

• Currently registered as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
• Postgraduate qualification related to the position (essential)
• 5 years or more of demonstrated experience
• Previous and demonstrated experience in perioperative nursing
• Desirable: willingness to expand or consolidate perioperative nursing skills through the Victorian Perioperative Nurses Group pathway, and an aptitude for learning
