Registered Nurse – Neurosurgery & Paediatrics

About the role

Join the John Carroll Ward Team, specialising in neurosurgery, ENT paediatrics and chronic pain. This permanent position offers experienced, compassionate nurses the chance to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care in a supportive, clinically‑excellent environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate individual patient care needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 12 months post‑graduate experience; post‑operative neurosurgical or paediatric experience preferred.
• Willingness to work a rotating 7‑day roster (permanent night position also available).
• Strong clinical assessment, communication and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
