Registered Nurse / Midwife – North West Tasmania

About the role

Hospitals North West is seeking passionate Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives to join its North West Tasmania team. You will work across a network of hospitals delivering acute, maternity and newborn care, including the Special Care Nursery within the North West Maternity Services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality clinical care to patients in acute and maternity settings.
• Support newborn families in the Special Care Nursery and assist with birthing suites.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies.
• Participate in on‑call rosters and respond to emergencies as required.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife in Australia.
• Experience in acute or maternity care is preferred.
• Commitment to public‑sector values and patient‑centred care.
• Willingness to relocate to North West Tasmania.
