Registered Nurse / Midwife - Emergency Department

About the role

Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg is seeking a dedicated, dual-qualified Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife for its busy Emergency Department. The department cares for women presenting with early pregnancy problems, antenatal and postnatal issues, acute gynaecological conditions, and neonates up to 2 weeks of age. The position is permanent part-time on a rotational shift roster including weekends and night duty, with EFT payment.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (essential).
• At least four years' relevant experience as a Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse (essential).
• Desirable: postgraduate qualifications or relevant experience in triage, critical care and emergency settings.
• Police record check and Working with Children Check, and proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccinations consistent with public health orders.
