Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

About the role

Mercy Health is expanding its Emergency Department at Werribee Mercy Hospital and is looking for Registered Nurses to join the new service from day one. You will work in a purpose‑built, state‑of‑the‑art emergency facility serving a rapidly growing community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, patient‑centred emergency care in resuscitation bays, the Short Stay Unit and specialised paediatric/behavioural zones.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, treat and discharge patients efficiently.
• Participate in the development of clinical protocols and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to AHPRA standards and hospital policies while maintaining accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• 12–24 months recent experience in an Australian Emergency Department.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, safety and continuous learning.
