Registered Nurse – Community Health (Newcastle & Raymond Terrace)

About the role

Join a supportive NSW Health community nursing team delivering personalised care to people living at home across Newcastle, Raymond Terrace and surrounding areas. This permanent full‑time position offers the chance to grow your clinical skills while making a real difference in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide person‑centred nursing care in home and community settings, assessing, planning and coordinating care for each client.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients, families and carers and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
• Develop expertise in wound care, catheter management and other community nursing skills while working independently with clinical support.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and a valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Compassionate, organised and adaptable with strong communication and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritising competing clinical needs.
• Confidence using technology and electronic documentation systems.
