Registered Nurse – Aged Care

About the role

Aegis Aged Care, the largest privately owned aged care provider in Western Australia, is recruiting Registered Nurses for its facilities across the South and North of the River. The position is full-time, paid $90,000-$115,000 per year depending on experience, and offers job stability, diversity and career growth across 29 facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake clinical, social and self-care assessments, anticipate residents' changing health needs and initiate further assessments or referrals.
• Support residents and their families by addressing their queries, comments, suggestions and concerns.
• Ensure care documentation is completed and that the appropriate strategies are implemented.
• Identify and manage clinical risk in the aged care setting.
• Support, coach, monitor and mentor unregulated care workers, and provide clinical expertise to the care team.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor degree as a Registered Nurse.
• At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Clinical experience and ability to manage risk in aged care.
• Sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
• Full Australian working rights and ability to pass a national police clearance.
