Registered Nurse – Aged Care

About the role

The Registered Nurse will support the Manager in delivering high‑quality, holistic care to residents at Dalrymple Villa, an 89‑bed residential aged‑care facility offering low, high and secure care.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver resident‑focused clinical care, ensuring compliance with legislation, standards and organisational policies.
• Guide and develop junior nursing staff, delegating tasks to appropriately qualified personnel.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement, accreditation activities and crisis management.
• Maintain accurate resident documentation and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and current practising certificate.
• Minimum Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and at least one year of RN experience, preferably in aged‑care.
• Demonstrated commitment to the aged‑care sector and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Required skills

• Gerontological nursing and palliative care expertise.
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) and related documentation.
• Infection control and workplace health & safety competence in a residential setting.
