Registered Nurse – Aged Care Home Visits

About the role

Healthcare Australia is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide home‑based aged‑care services across South West Sydney on a casual basis, with the potential to transition to a part‑time permanent role (15 hours per week). You will travel between clients, delivering clinical and personal care in their own homes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver holistic clinical and personal care tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans using clinical judgment.
• Provide wound care and manage medical equipment such as catheters and continence aids.
• Offer social and emotional support to promote client safety, comfort, and connection.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse qualification with active AHPRA registration.
• Experience in aged care or community home care is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable car with insurance, and willingness to travel (travel expenses paid).
• Up‑to‑date COVID‑19 and flu vaccinations or willingness to obtain them.
• National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Required skills

• First Aid (HLTAID011) certification.
• Basic Emergency Life Support (HLTAID010) certification.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
• Wound care techniques.
• Management of catheters and continence aids.
