Registered Nurse - Aged Care (FIFO)

About the role

selectability, a not-for-profit aged care provider supporting older persons in the Lower Gulf of North Queensland, is recruiting registered nurses for a remote FIFO position. The role works closely with enrolled nurses and the wider healthcare team to give person-centred, compassionate care. It is a 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotating roster with known leave dates, and offers significant overtime opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality, responsive and compassionate care to older persons, supporting a trusted, long-term relationship
• Work with enrolled nurses and the regional managers and the wider healthcare team
• Deliver person-centred care tailored to each older person's needs

Required profile

• APHRA registration to practice as a registered nurse in Australia
• Previous experience in an aged care residential facility (highly desirable)
• Previous experience in remote areas (desirable)
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain) and NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'
• Current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland driver licence
• Current flu vaccination (recommended) and first aid and CPR (or ability to obtain)
