Registered Nurse (Acute and Age Care) - Eastern Sydney

About the role

A part-time casual Registered Nurse position in aged care facilities across Sydney's Eastern suburbs, including Randwick, Coogee, Bronte, Oatley, Kogarah, Maroubra, Bondi, Waverley and Little Bay. Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise a team of Personal Carers to deliver high-quality care for residents.
• Liaise with the Clinical Manager, doctors, allied health and visiting specialists on care plans, and evaluate residents' care needs.
• Keep accurate records of care delivery and ensure safe medication administration, best-practice wound care and clinical support.
• Work within the Aged Care Act and Aged Care Quality Standards, and maintain a safe, harmonious environment for residents and staff.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• COVID-19 vaccination with booster, flu vaccination, and full working rights in Australia.
• First Aid and CPR certification; current police check and NDIS worker screening check.
• Availability for a variety of shift times, minimum 3 days per week, reliability and willingness to travel.
• Good communication and customer service skills, sound nursing judgement and commitment to ongoing professional development.
