About the role
TOMRA is looking for a Recycling Centre Attendant (FL desired) in Kunda Park, Queensland. As a Looper, you will work alongside a team passionate about the environment and the community, supporting the Containers for Change scheme. You will make sure customers have a great experience at the recycling centre, keeping it clean and tidy and making sure the machines and sorting equipment run as intended.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain a safe, clean, efficient and professional environment
- Clean and maintain the reverse vending machines and sorting equipment regularly
- Remove and replace collection bins as they fill up so the sorting equipment runs efficiently
- Monitor the centre for hazards and report concerns
- Carry out ad-hoc duties as required by management
Required profile
- Experience in face-to-face customer service
- A passion for recycling and the environment
- A keen eye for detail and a motivation to keep the workplace clean
- Physically fit, as some manual lifting is required
